Despite his impressive career, Blackmon has never represented the U.S. internationally at any level. He was, however, included in the preliminary roster for a USMNT training camp held last January.
Blackmon’s soccer journey began at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, where he played collegiate soccer. He made his professional debut with LAFC in 2018, initially playing as a right back. He also had loan stints with USL Championship side Phoenix Rising in 2018 and 2019. Over his professional career, Blackmon has made 217 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals.
